You can take your kids on a boat on the Vltava, which seems to be the thing that Prague locals do on sunny weekends. You can either book a ride on a steam boat or rent one of the many pedal boats that you can see on the river from spring to fall. There are several pedal boat rental companies on Slovanský Ostrov (across the National Theatre) - S.P.L.A.V, Slovanka, and U Kotvy. A rental starts at 200 CZK/hour. There's also a nice playground on the island for small kids.




To the Prague Zoo by Boat

A fun activity that can fill your day is to take the boat to or from the Prague Zoo.
