Eastern Bohemia

This region to the east and north-east of Prague offers a varied scenery, from fertile valleys to Czech Republic’s highest mountains, the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains). The charming Český ráj (Bohemian Paradise) nature reserve is a great place to take a few hikes and enjoy the beautiful sandstone formations and quiet forests. The zoo in Dvůr Králové nad Labem is one of the most famous in the Czech Republic.
